Hi<div><br><div>Yes the avatar uses SignWriting. </div><div>The idea is for the avatar to sign the signs represented in SignWriting.</div><div>Signs are typed using SignText ( available at <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; border-collapse: collapse; "><a href="http://www.signbank.org/signpuddle/SignText.zip" target="_blank" style="color: rgb(42, 93, 176); ">http://www.signbank.org/signpuddle/SignText.zip</a>) <span class="Apple-style-span" style="border-collapse: separate; font-family: arial; font-size: small; ">which converts these signs to SWML(SignWriting Markup Language).</span></span></div>
<div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial, sans-serif">The system then interprets these signs, by evaluating the relationship of hands to the head, and other symbols.</font></div><div><font class="Apple-style-span" face="arial, sans-serif">From the interpretation, we convert the signs into body animation parameters, which are then used to render the avatar.</font></div>
