Hi Val -
The article is accepted and available online as a proof, though it's not officially in print yet. It's funny - I can't download the pdf of this version either without buying it but I should have access to it once it's actually in print. But don't buy it Val - in the meantime I can send people pdfs derived from my word document (attached). But it will be nicer once the "real" version is available.
And thanks for the congratulations!
Best,
Erika

On Tue, Jul 26, 2011 at 7:08 PM, Valerie Sutton <sutton@signwriting.org> wrote:
I am so happy to learn about this. I hadn't realized it was published yet. I following the link you gave us below, and read the Abstract. It is exciting and I almost purchased the article online, but stopped myself when you mentioned that you can send people pdfs? Is that possible for me too?(smile) or I will be happy to purchase it - I would like to refer to it, and to link to it, on our SignWriting sites -

If you don't have access to this journal through your institution, let me know and I'll send you a pdf.
I am still planning to collect more data - I'd eventually like to write a book about SignWriting.
Do you use SSW when you teach ASL? I'd love to hear more about your work.
Best,
Erika

On Mon, Jul 25, 2011 at 5:22 PM, Kimberly Berger <kberger71@gmail.com> wrote:
