No <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage" title="Same-sex marriage">same-sex marriage</a>, <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domestic_partnership" title="Domestic partnership">domestic partnership</a> or <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Civil_union" title="Civil union">civil union</a> has any legal standing in the nation and may be used as evidence to initiate criminal proceedings. So, my wife can never travel with me.
