In the case of the forearm with the double line parallel with the Front Wall Plane, the curves are single-stemmed curved arrows that are parallel with the floor. The baby finger's curve is always hitting the front wall (the curve looks like it is up but it is forward) and the thumb is always creating a curve that hits the back wall plane or moves back towards your chest - that curve is always down on the page which means back towards your chest.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">So now let's take the sign for DOOR. If your thumbs are touching each other with the flat hands showing that the doors are closed, it has to be your thumb that does the movement opening. If your thumbs are touching in the beginning position and one of them opens, then once again it has to be your thumb that opens the movement.
