My name is Valerie Sutton and this is my office. This is sunny Southern California. Welcome to my office. Guess what?! I got a gift yesterday. I found it on my doorstep. I was so excited. I opened up the box and it was from South Korea. Wow. I very rarely get boxes from South Korea. And this gift is amazing. People in South Korea, who are really hard workers, they translated Steve and Dianne Parkhurst's book "Lessons in SignWriting", from Spain. The books were translated into South Korean spoken language and sign language both, with examples in South Korean Sign Language. And there are two volumes, because it was a big job and the books that Steve and Dianne Parkhurst have written are just beautiful with illustrations. But you can see ... these books have all the same illustrations, just simply translated into another sign language and of course South Korean spoken language. And there are two volumes because they are big books. Yeah! Thank you so much for this gift. This is just amazing. And then, in the box, was also a beautiful calendar, can you see? And the calendar is a little hard to show but I am going to try my best. For example, on one side of the page, you have the actual numbers for the days of the week, and then on the other side of the page, if I can show it, we have a sentence in sign language about April, for example. Wow. Very exciting. So this is this calendar. And then also another, a second calendar, was in the box. As you can see here, a smaller one, a really cute small one. And when you open it up, it has similar calendar. So. First I want to thank Steve and Dianne Parkhurst for your beautiful work. And second I would like to thank the publishers and the translators from South Korea. Thank you for giving me this gift. It will always be treasured in my library. And I hope you have a wonderful day. Bye."</div><div class=""><br class=""></div></body></html>________________________________________________
