For example, there is a transition from one move to another where you circle the hoop once around your thumb and then around four fingers on a flat hand. </li><li>tricks happen on specific planes (horizontal and vertical (front, sides, and back) or move between those planes</li><li>with hoop dance people generally don't move around the space a lot (compared to say ballet or football). People mainly stay in one place, facing forwards, or sometimes turn around. Of course, people can combine hoop dance with other kinds of dance, so in that case, they might move around through the space more but in basic hoop dance not so much. However, legs are important in hoop dance: to spin the hoops around your legs for example, or kicking the hoop up. In those cases, the position of the legs and the feet is important, because otherwise, just like with hand positions, the trick might not work. So in hoop dance legs and feet are used more like a tool, similar to arms and hands, to do tricks and less to move around the space like with ballet dance or lots of sports. This is why it feels more natural for me to write the feet in a SignWriting style.</li></ul></div><div>You mention creating a space on the internet for HoopWriting.
