I am preparing a new series of presentation for the academic world <br>
called "The Science of Sutton SignWriting".  The first presentation is <br>
in it's third revision and feels solid.  I have incorporated two early <br>
reviewers feedback, reorganized and reframed the idea into a version <br>
that I think is ready for public review.<br>

     "Language is not tied to sound. Spoken, signed, tactile, and <br>
written pathways together reveal the modality-independent nature of <br>
human language. Sutton SignWriting provides a durable written pathway <br>
for signed language and opens the door to literacy, research, and shared <br>
infrastructure."<br>

The second presentation is called "The Shape of Writing" and it isn't <br>
ready yet.<br>
<br>
     "Writing is not inherently linear. Some systems compress structure <br>
into integrated units, some unfold meaning through sequence, and some <br>
compose meaning spatially across a plane. SignWriting belongs to that <br>
broader science of writing geometry, and Formal SignWriting shows how <br>
planar writing can also be encoded computationally."<br>
<br>
I believe there is research to be done and we can make it happen <br>
together.  The benefits will fall to all users of Sutton SignWriting.<br>
<br>
I'm preparing the Sutton SignWriting Platform v3 and it will be <br>
available later this year on <a href="https://sutton-signwriting.io" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://sutton-signwriting.io</a><br>
<br>
Initially, it will be used to register users and collect demographic <br>
data.  We will be mapping Universities, schools, groups, individuals <br>
that use SignWriting and finding faculty, professors, teachers, <br>
students, classes, books and more.  I am currently porting the <br>
SignPuddle data and users to the new Sutton SignWriting Platform v3.<br>
<br>
I hope everything is going well and I look forward to many more years of <br>
reading and writing with Sutton SignWriting together with you.<br>
