<div style="font-weight: 400;">Öffentliche Bibliotheken stehen vor besonderen Herausforderungen im Umgang mit rassistischen und diskriminierenden Inhalten in ihren Beständen. Werden solche Inhalte unreflektiert zugänglich gemacht, verstärken sie Stereotype und Ausschlüsse und stehen damit dem Bildungs- und Vermittlungsauftrag der Bibliotheken entgegen. Als öffentlich finanzierte Einrichtungen sind Bibliotheken in besonderem Masse gefordert, einen bewussten und sensiblen Umgang mit ihren Beständen zu pflegen. Damit stellt sich die Frage, wie sie fachlich fundiert und verantwortungsvoll mit solchen Inhalten umgehen können.</div>

<div style="font-weight: 400;">An der diesjährigen Interbiblio-Tagung wird das Thema aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven beleuchtet: Referate zu Rassismus und Diskriminierung sowie zu Mission, Ethik und Verantwortung schaffen am Vormittag die Grundlage für eine gemeinsame und interdisziplinäre Auseinandersetzung. In einer anschliessenden Podiumsdiskussion werden die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven zusammengeführt und kritisch diskutiert.</div>

<div style="font-weight: 400;">In einem Workshop am Nachmittag werden praxisnahe Handlungsansätze für den Umgang mit problematischen Inhalten entwickelt.</div>

<div style="font-weight: 400;">Die Tagung ist Teil eines laufenden Projekts von Interbiblio, in dem gemeinsam mit Bibliotheken und weiteren Institutionen ein Leitfaden mit Handlungsempfehlungen für die bibliothekarische Praxis erarbeitet wird, der 2027 veröffentlicht wird. </div>

<div style="font-weight: 400;">Les bibliothèques publiques sont confrontées à des défis particuliers dans la gestion des contenus racistes et discriminatoires présents dans leurs collections. Lorsque de tels contenus sont accessibles sans réflexion, ils renforcent les stéréotypes et les exclusions et vont ainsi à l’encontre de la mission culturelle et de formation des bibliothèques. En tant qu’institutions financées par des fonds publics, les bibliothèques ont une responsabilité particulière dans le choix et la gestion de leurs collections. Elles sont donc amenées à réfléchir à la manière de traiter ces contenus de façon professionnelle et adaptée.</div>

<div style="font-weight: 400;">Lors du symposium d’Interbiblio de cette année, ce sujet sera abordé sous différents angles. La matinée sera consacrée à des présentations sur le racisme, la discrimination, ainsi que sur la mission, l’éthique et la responsabilité des bibliothèques. Ces interventions permettront de poser les bases d’une réflexion commune et interdisciplinaire. Une table ronde réunira ensuite différents points de vue afin d’en discuter de manière critique. L’après-midi, un atelier permettra de développer des approches concrètes pour la gestion des contenus problématiques dans les collections.</div>

<div style="font-weight: 400;">Cette journée s’inscrit dans le cadre d’un projet d’Interbiblio, qui vise à élaborer, avec des bibliothèques et d’autres institutions, un guide contenant des recommandations pratiques pour le travail en bibliothèque. Sa publication est prévue pour 2027.</div>
