The Sino-Tibetan Etymological Dictionary and Thesaurus Project (STEDT) at
the University of California, Berkeley is pleased to announce that the
STEDT Monograph Series has now been released as a set of *free pdf files*.

Also available to download are the classic works, "Sino-Tibetan: A
Conspectus" (Benedict 1972) and "Variational Semantics in Tibeto-Burman"
(Matisoff 1978).

We hope that free access to these works will benefit the field of
