This collection contains songs and speeches performed at a wedding and other
occasions in Wuyika Village, Kaba Township in Tewo County, Gannan Tibetan
Autonomous Prefecture, PR China.

Dorji recorded this collection in February 2011.

1. Liquor Praise Song
Sung by 'phags pa, Paba (b. 1943), a native of Wuyika Village. Paba holds a
bamboo tube that is used to drink the liquor. The song is particularly for
barley liquor.

2. Song Sung while Outside the Home
Sung by dpe sde mtsho, Bandaicao (b. ~1980), a native of Wuyika Village.
Such songs are sung when, for example, one is outside the home and walking
on the mountain. They are sung for enjoyment.

3. Wedding Speech 1
By sgrol go, Zhugao (b. 1956), a native of Kaba Village. This speech is
considered the most important speech at a wedding and is given at the
beginning of the wedding.
