With apologies for cross posting.

Dear All,

In 2011, The Plateau Cultural Heritage Protection Group (PCHP, Xining,
China) began a partnership with the World Oral Literature Project (WOLP,
University of Cambridge, UK and Yale University, USA) to archive its
collection of oral traditions (primarily music) from the Tibetan Plateau.

Nineteen collections have so far been posted online, containing nearly 400
audio and video files of oral traditions from across the Tibetan Plateau,
including materials in Namuyi (Namzi), Mi nyag, Lavrung, Naxi, and Pumi. To
our knowledge, this is the largest online archive of oral traditions from
the region.

The PCHP archives are accessible at:
http://www.oralliterature.org/collections/pchpgcollections.html. Summaries
of individual collections and links are below. Please check back in the
future, as more collections will be added in the coming months.

Sincerely,

Klu rgyal 'bum and Gerald Roche

with support from Libu Lakhi (PCHP), and Mark Turin, Claire Wheeler, and
Eleanor Wilkinson (WOLP)

and funding from USAID, The Bridge Fund, UNESCO, and the Rita and Alex
Hillman Foundation.
