Dear Colleagues:

I am conducting a survey on issues surrounding using an intermediary language (i.e. a language that is not the linguist’s mother tongue) to do linguistic fieldwork and analysis. Specifically, I am interested in the impact of the intermediary language on analyzing field data.

If you have conducted linguistic fieldwork using an intermediary language, I would be very grateful if you would complete this survey. It should take no longer than 15 minutes to complete, and the data will not be linked to your identity in any way. The survey may be found here:

https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/interlangfieldwork

I would also be very grateful if you forwarded this invitation to any other individuals or groups who may be interested.

Thank you -- and apologies for cross-posting.
