Dear Colleagues,

I am happy to announce that a new (tenured) lectureship (= US assistant
professor) is available at SOAS in the linguistics of Chinese or other
languages of China. This means any language of China, Cantonese, Min,
Tibetan, Uyghur, Zhuang.

Please note that although the short job description mentions a
specialization in '"semantics and/or pragmatics/discourse studies", as this
is not mentioned in the 'person specifications' applicants with expertise
in other areas of linguistics should not be disadvantaged.
