More news for those interested in the Sino-Tibetan Homeland:

I just heard from Jerry Packard that he has also been working on the question of the Sino-Tibetan homeland, and has come to similar conclusions as the others mentioned earlier on this list, i.e. that the homeland was the Yellow River Valley in what is now Northern China, though based on different evidence. It is part of a book he is working on, but he will be presenting his evidence and conclusions at the upcoming International Conference on Sino-Tibetan Languages and Linguistics at Sydney University (https://slam-events.sydney.edu.au/calendar/52nd-international-conference-on-sino-tibetan-languages-and-linguistics-icstll52/ <https://slam-events.sydney.edu.au/calendar/52nd-international-conference-on-sino-tibetan-languages-and-linguistics-icstll52/>).
