[Tibeto-burman-linguistics] Death of Ka-phing Loh (Jia-peng Luo) (1960-2024)

Dear Colleagues,

Professor Ka-phing Loh (Jia-peng Luo) (駱嘉鵬) died on 7 April, 2024 in Taiwan.

He contributed to Southern Min phonology, comparative Sinitic phonology, lexicography information processing and Taiwanese Southern Min education. A list of his works in Chinese is athttps://web.archive.org/web/20231207204449/http://www.kaphing.idv.tw/loh/ljp/.

The memorial service will take place on 20 April, 2024 at 14:30 at Zhizhong 2nd Hall, the Second Funeral Parlor of Taipei City Mortuary Services Office (No. 330, Sec. 3, Xinhai Rd., Da'an Dist., Taipei City).
