In addition to affecting LINGUIST and LINGLITE, we will be unable to receive and distribute messages sent to the lists that LINGUIST List hosts for one to two days.</div><div><br></div><div>We anticipate downtime starting <b>Friday (10/10)</b> and service resuming <b>Sunday (10/12)</b>. This interruption is unfortunate, but necessary as we relocate the server from Michigan to Indiana.</div><div><br></div><div>Because the IP address will change, there may be delays of up to 48 hours in certain parts of the world to be able to access the @<a href="http://listserv.linguistlist.org/">LISTSERV.LINGUISTLIST.ORG</a> domain while the changes of the domain name entry propagate through the internet.</div><div><br></div><div>Because the server will not be receiving messages, anything sent to your lists will not be posted, in fact it might bounce back to the senders. We recommend that you send a message over your list before Friday to make subscribers aware of the situation and the brief maintenance period.</div><div><br></div><div>Please bear with us through this process.
