<div dir="ltr"><span style="font-size:12.6666669845581px">Dear colleagues,<br></span><br><span style="font-size:12.8000001907349px">For the first time, the Annual Meeting of the Southeast Asian Linguistic Society (SEALS) will be held in Manila, Philippines on May 26 to 28, 2016. SEALS26 is organized by the Department of Linguistics of the University of the Philippines and SIL International - Philippines. </span><br><br><span style="font-size:12.8000001907349px">As a primary venue for exchange of linguistic ideas, the SEALS conferences focus on the languages and linguistics of Southeast Asia, including the Austroasiatic, Austronesian, Hmong-Mien, Tibeto-Burman, and Tai-Kadai families, and provides an occasion for scholars to share their research.<br></span><br><span style="font-size:12.8000001907349px">We invite scholars working on Southeast Asian linguistics for this year's meeting in Manila. <br></span><br><span style="font-size:12.8000001907349px">IMPORTANT NOTES <br>In order to submit an abstract, please do take note of the following important details.<br>1. Proponents may only submit a maximum of two (2) abstracts: one as sole author and another as a co-author. <br>2. Maintain a maximum of 12 words for the paper title. <br>3. </span><span style="font-size:13px;color:rgb(20,24,35);font-family:helvetica,arial,sans-serif;line-height:17.9400005340576px;white-space:pre-wrap">Abstracts should be no more than 500 words, including examples and references, not exceeding 1 A4 page in single-space 12 point type.</span><span style="font-size:12.8000001907349px"><br><br>CONFERENCE SCOPE <br>Everyone is invited to submit an abstract on any branch of linguistics in a Southeast Asian context, including but not limited to the scopes below. <br>1.
