<p>Shangke (or similar spelling) is the name given to a Tangsa variety; the autonym is <span>Shecyü</span>. As far as I know, this variety is a lingua franca in parts of Burma, particularly Nanyun township area in northern Sagaing division. On the Indian side
a closely related variety, Chamchang (spelled Cyamcyang in Myanmar and called Kimsing by many people), is the language used by Churches adhering to the Tangsa Baptist Churches Association (TBCA).</p>
