Studentship supports students from the Tibetan Plateau or Himalayan region
pursuing postgraduate studies at the University of Cambridge. Full or partial
funding will normally be granted for one-year postgraduate study in any
discipline. Although preference may be given to those ethnically or
culturally connected with Tibet, Nepal or Bhutan, the ability to make a
positive and practical contribution to Himalayan region communities and the
wider world is more important than ethnicity, religion or subject of
