This includes, but is not necessarily limited to, phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, sociolinguistics, typology, documentation, including field reports and empirically-based ethnographic studies, and language technology/computational linguistics. We also welcome submissions from other fields (such as history, archaeology, ethnobotany, genetics and anthropology) which can relate to the history and development of Himalayan languages. Papers are not limited to the Trans-Himalayan language family, but may treat any language traditionally spoken within the Trans-Himalayan area, including Indo-Aryan, Tai-Kadai, Austro-Asiatic, and Hmong-Mien languages, as well as isolates, pidgins and creoles. </div><p dir="ltr" class="zfr3Q CDt4Ke" style="box-sizing: border-box; font-variant-ligatures: none; margin: 14px 0px 0px; outline: none; position: relative; color: rgb(33, 33, 33); line-height: 1.55; white-space: pre-wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">Abstract submission will be open from October 1st, 2022, with a deadline of March 1st, 2023.
