Dear Colleagues,

I wish to inform you that the organisation of the 11th International
Congress for Fenno-Ugric Studies (FU 11) has started. The event will be
held in Piliscsaba/Hungary between the 9th and 14th of August in 2010.

We plan to host Symposia concerning different topics connected to the
Congress. We cordially invite you to send your suggestions according
such topics to the president of the Organizing Committee (csucs at nytud.hu
<mailto:csucs at nytud.hu>). The deadline is 31st of May, 2007.

We kindly ask you to express your willingness to take the organization
of the suggested Symposium or to suggest a proper person to take it. By
our conception this adequate person will manage the organization ( to
choose, to request the participants), moderation in co-operation with
the Organizing Committee.

We plan to give information about the Symposia topics in the first
circular of FU 11 this autumn.

Please, let your colleagues know about the Congress and the possibility
of Symposia, too.

Sándor Csúcs
President of the Organizing Committee
