<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space;">URALIC AND SIBERIAN LEXICOLOGY AND LEXICOGRAPHY<br><br> <br><br>We are pleased to announce that the 4th Mikola Conference on Lexicology and Lexicography of the Uralic and Siberian languages will be held in Szeged, Hungary, November 14-15, 2014 and will be hosted by the Department of Finno-Ugric Linguistics at the University of Szeged.<br><br>Our department has been organizing conferences in honor of Professor Tibor Mikola (19362000), the former head of the department for 13 years . The present conference carries on this tradition. <br><br>The topic of the 4th Mikola Conference is lexicology and lexicography. We invite researchers of Uralic and other Siberian languages who are working on the following areas of lexicology and lexicography:<br>·lexical typology,<br>·lexical semantics,<br>·pragmatic lexicology<br>·cognitive lexicology,<br>·contact and areal linguistics,<br>·corpus linguistic,<br>·applied lexicology and lexicography,<br>·historical lexicology and lexicography<br>·etimology.<br>The official language of the conference is English. Abstracts and handouts should be prepared in English. The papers are delivered in English, but it is possible to present papers in other languages. Please consider that no interpreting service is foreseen.<div><br><b>abstract</b></div><div><br>Abstracts should be submitted electronically as an e-mail attachment (as Word or .rtf files) to <a href="mailto:szevers@hung.u-szeged.hu">szevers@hung.u-szeged.hu</a>. Abstracts should be between 200-250 words excluding bibliography. The page should be headed only by the title of the paper and the abstract should contain no self-identification.
