This is a 2nd CALL FOR PAPERS for the 6th International
conference on Samoyedology to be held on September 8–10, 2016 in
Moscow, Russia. It will be dedicated to the memory of Ariadna Kuznetsova
(1932–2015). The conference will be organized by the Institute of
Linguistics, Russian Academy of Sciences.<br>
<br>
Researchers from all branches of Samoyedic studies are welcome:
linguists, anthropologists, folklorists, and social anthropologists.
Please send your abstracts of up to 2 pages (ca. 3600 symbols) to <a href="mailto:samoyedology2016@yandex.ru" target="_blank">samoyedology2016@yandex.ru</a> till <b>March 1, 2016</b>. Your e-mail should also include your full name, affiliation, e-mail, and phone number.<br>

Working languages of the conference are Russian and English.<br>
<br>
A special session on open resources in Samoyedic studies will be
organized as a part of the conference. We invite short presentations on
resources both that you have created yourself and that you use in your
own work, whether they are online or they are available from their
keepers on personal request. Please mention in your submission whether
you are interested in giving a presentation at the special session, as
well.<br>
<br>
Given the number of submitted abstracts, there may also be organized a
workshop on a specific grammatical topic of Samoyedic languages. More
information will be available in spring 2016.<br>
<br>
<b>Important dates:<br>
March 1, 2016 — deadline for submitting abstracts,<br>
April 1, 2016 — notification of acceptance,<br>
September 8–10, 2016 — the conference.</b><br>

Unfortunately, the Organizing committee cannot provide any financial
support to the participants of the conference. Please do not hesitate to

The conference fee covering coffee breaks and other organization needs is expected to be ca. 300–500 RUR (ca. 4–7 EUR).<br>
