Apologies for cross-posting.

Steve Farmer recently notified the Indo-Eurasian Research list that
_Journal Asiatique_ from 1822 to 1934 has been scanned and made
available at the Gallica website of the Bibliothèque Nationale. Here
is his "roadmap":

>
> A large number of other old Journals (including some German and
> English ones -- not just French) are available from the same source as
> PDFs, nicely scanned in most cases. For a complete index, go to:
>
> http://gallica.bnf.fr/
>
> Then click on "Recherche" and then "Periodiques". There are also many
> other types of research materials available there online.
