Dear Colleagues,

To my knowledge, the best book in this regard is the following:

Indian and British English (A handbook of usage and pronunciation). 2nd edn. By PAROO NIHALNI, R. K. TONGUE, PRIYA HOSALI, and JONATHAN CROWTHER. New Delhi: Oxford University Press, 2004. Pp. x, 260. ISBN 019 566656 9. HB. Rs. 750/-.

This carries detailed information about the pronunciation of Indian English. Moreover, it has a large lexical list at the end with Indian pronunciation along with BRP. It will be useful.

A review of the book is going to be published in 'Language' soon.

  With regards,

  Sincerely,

  Niladri
