Forwarded from lgpolicy-list:

This might be the juncture to mention that there will be a
language-specific skills-building training for Punjabi court
interpreters on May 7-8 sponsored by NAJIT (National Association of
Judiciary Interpreters and Translators) and its 502(c)(3) Society for
the Study of Translation and Interpreting together with the State of
California Court Interpreters Program.

Because language-specific interpreter skills-building training is so
rare in languages other than Spanish, it would be a service if this
information could be passed on to members of the Punjabi speaking
community who might be interested in attending.

Further information on the Punjabi training and a registration link,
please go to

Click on calendar in the short announcement and then scroll down to
the dates in question.

Thank you.
