<DIV>The position of Librarian GS-1410-12 is for an experienced and knowledgeable librarian in Asian Pacific American (APA) collections who will be in charge of the APA collections of the Library under the supervision of the Chief of the Asian Division or his/her designee. </DIV>

<DIV>The general duties of the position will include (1) developing and managing the APA collections in all formats and in various locations of the Library, (2) providing APA related reference services, (3) identifying, coordinating and approving APA items for acquisitions, (4) developing research guides and bibliographic tools, and (5) maintaining contacts with other APA organizations and APA collections throughout the nation. </DIV>
