[ACLA-CAAL] Register for the Virtual Pronunciation Conference - PSLLT 2021 - June 18 & 19th, 2021

Dear ACLA/CAAL members,

This is a friendly reminder to register<https://brocku.ca/psllt-2021/registration/> for the upcoming Pronunciation in Second Language Learning and Teaching Conference (PSLLT 2021).  It will be held virtually on June 18-19, 2021.

The Early Bird Deadline is May 15th, 2021.

We hope you will join us for a full two days of stimulating presentations related to second language pronunciation and its teaching, including:


  *   A plenary session by Marnie Reed (Boston University), Co-editor of the Wiley Handbook of English Pronunciation
  *   Three featured presentations focussed on teachers
  *   70+ Oral presentations
  *   60+ Poster presentations
  *   30+ Teaching Tips

This year, PSLLT is also providing language teachers with special access to the pronunciation Teaching Tips portion of the conference on June 19th (from 1:00 – 3:15 pm, EDT), without needing to register for the entire conference. This is a fabulous opportunity for teachers to see expert practitioners demonstrate pronunciation techniques that work. If you know of teachers who might be interested in practical suggestions for teaching pronunciation, the Tips session on its own is only $36.25 + HST (under $41 CAD). Please feel free to forward this to your networks.


All presentations will be available for viewing for six months after the conference is finished.
