We are excited to invite you to an online speaker series on “Linguistic Equity in First-Year Writing: A Decolonial Framework” on May 22 and 23, 2025. With a keynote provided by Dr. Vershawn Ashanti Young, Professor and Director of Black Studies at the University of Waterloo and a stellar list of researchers from across Canada, this event will present current research on linguistic justice and decolonization in Candian higher education. Join us to listen, engage, and contribute to this important discussion.
