I learned that what is being sung in the background of Peter Gabriel's "Games
without Frontiers" is "joues sans frontiers" and not "she's so popular"  or "
she's so funky now" or whatever.

I asked my husband if he knew this and he said there used to be a game show
either called "Games Without Frontiers" or which used the phrase "joues sans
frontiers", so lots of English people were familiar with the French phrase.
