That must be where the writers for a horrible "Amazing Videos" show I watched
last night while eating a TV dinner get their material.  One segment ended with
the narrator intoning:

"[So-and-so] cheated death that day--and lived to tell the tale!!"

Duh!

On the other hand, I think the Cirque de Cliche site (they don't use the acute
accent) should be renamed Cirque de Oxymoron.  The first item on their
navigation bar is headed "New Cliches . . ."

Huh?
