Hi all,

Do any of you have thoughts on the following query. I have a vague
recollection of it from tv but that's about it.

Hello,

Could you tell me the origin of "yowza" (or "yowza-yowza") as uttered
when
one is surprised? We're wondering whether it's a post-60's word or
invented around that time. Thanks in advance!

                        Sincerely,
                                Yukiko Mori
