Even earlier "pastrami"

In light of our recent discussion of "pastrami," where
we were all very impressed that David Shulman had
discovered a 1927 example of the word, I feel I should
mention that the OED now has a 1920 example, from another
frequent American contributor, Stuart Silverstein. This
discovery is mentioned in the January 1999 issue of the
OED Newsletter.
