On a BBC broadcast, on 9.515 mhz, at 9:58 am (0958 hr, EST), an
interview (with ?, of Microsoft UK; I didn't catch the name) discussed
the forthcoming Encarta World English Dictionary, supposedly the 1st new
dictionary in English, in 30 years. It was noted that Webster', the
OED, and Collins will always be (useful), but the forthcoming dictionary
is different. The key facet being that you don't need a dictionary to
understand it, simple English is used throughout. Will probably be
released around September; updated on a regular basis.

I have been unable to find the specific interview at [I picked it up on
shortwave]:

Don't know if I look forward to the release of a dictionary that meets
Encarta standards or not. Just wondering.
