new language law

Some friends of ours took their young son out of public school one year--I
think it was for second grade--and sent him to Catholic school, where he
called the nuns Mrs. because that's what he was used to.  And what about the
teachers who don't want to be called Ms? Or Miss? Or Mrs.? Or Sister?
