Winnowy

Hello everyone,

        A friend of mine recently spotted the word "winnowy" on the front page of USA Today. The word was used to describe a woman, in the way "willowy" is usually used. Should we assume a typo, or is this a new adjective to desribe someone who has come out of her shell, so to speak?
