Gimme some foodback!

Friends and colleagues:

After sitting here all day at the computer doing statistics on the katakana
spelling of English loan-words in Japanese by native speakers of Japanese
and English learners of Japanese (go figure!), I finally had a bright spot.

One of my students wrote me asking for "foodback" on her thesis proposal.
She reckoned, of course, that "feedback" would be plural and inappropriate
(perhaps even demanding).

Fun huh?
