Every student at IU (Indiana University), at least when I was there briefly
in the mid-50's, was used to referrring to PU (Purdue University), the
biggest sports enemy, with an exaggerated PeeeeeeYuuuuuuu (often
accompanied by nose-holding, hand-waving, etc....)
