I am at this odd beast written as "IU-PU", which is a combined campus of
Indiana University and Purdue University. The friendly/derisive pronc for
IU-PU is
[ju-i pju-i] (with hyphens indicating syllable boundary). There are two
such campuses. The Indianapolis campus then is [jui pjui jui] and the Fort
Wayne, [ju-i pyu-i fju-i].

What I have also noticed is that the "PU" part varies thusly: [pju-i] ~
[pu-i], with "local" speakers seeming to prefer [pu-i].

I'm sure there is some paper on scatology in the phonology of university
abbreviations, should someone care to ...
