I heard "ooey-pooey" from my mother who attended IUPUI in the late '70s.
And speaking of place nick-names, how about "India-NO-place" and
"Bloom-tucky," used to speak disparagingly of the similarities between
Bloomington and Kentucky.  We Hoosiers get no respect....
