Thanks Fred! (still trying to memorize the back issues.)

This may also be a good time to point out that the long-awaited index to
Vols. VII-XXIV of Verbatim should be done either late this year or early
in 2000.

This will be an index to titles, authors, persons, and words discussed. It
will be on the web as soon after it is done as possible, and perhaps also
in a dead-tree version, depending on demand. If you want a paper version
(one that doesn't come out of your laser printer) please let me know as
soon as possible.
