In today's NYTimes Science Section there is an interesting article, "How Culture
Molds Habits of Thought," that might be of interest, especially for folks
familiar with the Sapir-Whorff hypothesis and what Steven Pinker calls
mentalese.  Where language fits into this picture is difficult to say.
