This article is following on the heels of a much more publicized "name and shame"
campaign--against alleged pedophiles, organized by The News of the World (tabloid) and
resulting in a fair amount of violence in the housing estates of nearby Portsmouth.  At the
moment "name and shame" is pretty much synonymous with the anti-pedophile campaign.
