He'p! Adverbials w/AAVE stressed BEEN?

In his 1999 book on AAVE, Rickford argues that time adverbials cannot
occur with stressed BEEN (p. 20). However, the examples of stressed BEEN
in Wolfram & Schillng-Estes 1998 (p. 171) are "You BEEN paid your dues a
long time ago" and "I BEEN known him a long time."

Could the examples be inaccurate, or do Rickford's comments apply just to
a particular regional variety, or do it just be that way sometime?
