On(a)Accident

[Robert Wickham]

    While living in the S.F.Bay Area in  mid 1960 my
son(6 at the time)and his friends said "on
accident"or"on a accident".I thought it was a childish
mistake and paid no attention.I had no idea how far it
has spread.However over the years I am not suprised at
whatever folly emerges from the depths of San
Francisco.
