"Hooker" myth in Maureen Dowd's Sunday column

    "Hooker" is wrong again in Maureen Dowd's column in today's Sunday New
York Times.  I'm still amazed that this woman won a Pulitzer Prize.
    NYU's George Thompson will have to correct her.  Again, the New York
Times has no reader's ombudsman, and (in my experience) rarely publishes
corrections.  Thompson will have to take them to court on this, and they'll
publish a correction after they lose a court battle five years from now.  But
hey, good luck!!
