Pornographic

Porn and pornographic have some currency here in New York among the new media and
advertising crowds (usually with creative types rather than account or administrative
types). I don't have cites, but usage is usually something along the lines of,

"I just got the bonus. Absolutely pornographic. I didn't think it was going to be
that big." (I don't think the "size" question is what brings on the use of
"pornographic," but I could be wrong).

One of the creative groups has decorated their shared space with teeny-bopper and
boy-band posters: Spice Girls, Backstreet Boyz, 98 Degrees, Hanson. They call it their
"kiddie porn."
