The website for VIEW 2000, the Sept 14-16 conference on language
variation in the British Isles, is now up and accessible
directly at:
        http://www.essex.ac.uk/linguistics/view

Currently all information is available on it except for conference
abstracts, which will be put up later in July.

        Anyone interested in attending the conference, or finding out
more about it, is also invited to look and send feedback. We are
excited about the quality of papers that will be given, and hope to see
you there.

ATTENTION PRESENTERS:
        All presenters are requested to check the website for details
of their names, paper titles, and day/time. Please reply to this
address with any changes or feedback. (I will be away from email
between 8 and 17 July.) Please note the Aug 1 deadlines for early
registration and reserving accommodations!
