I've discovered that my students here think that the song "Skip to my
Lou" is "Skip to the Loo". In other words, they've assumed since
childhood that this is a song about approaching the bathroom with a
bouncy step. I am assuming that "Skip to my Lou" means "Skip to the
left" in square-dance-speak. Is this correct?
