query re: AAVE use in literature

I realize this query is not exactly in the main area of this list. I
have a feeling it has been discussed here within the past couple years.
If anyone has a good canned reply w/sources, or a pointer to a good

I am writing a paper on the influence of AAVE,Ebonics,on African

of that "language " on American literature?
Are there any particular authors that write in that dialect or
language, and why, since some Black leaders consider it as demeaning
